One day when I was in first grade at Mission Elementary it was a day that would change how I would think, feel, act, and learn in may life. Well it all started when I was playing a game of handball with my friends. As i was playing with my teacher Mrs.Johnson called me over when I heared her voice I quickly turn over and stared to walk right to the classroom. When I arrived at the class Mrs.Johnson told me that if mom could come to the school tomorrow I said,”I dont think my mom can” well just tell hear okay my teacher said. After we were done speaking I went back to play with my friends. As the last bell rang I went to the bus stop to go home when I was home I almost forgot to tell my mom so went up the stairs.I knock on the door my mom said ”come in” then my mom said ”what is it” I said my teacher said if you can come to the school tomorrow she said ”okay”. The very next morning my mom woke me up and told me to get ready for school. So I got up an started to walk to the bathroom and brush my teeth. After I was done brushing my teeth I saw my mom ironing my uniform when my mom was done she said ”put on your cloth then lets go” so I get my cloths on then me and my mom went to my school. When I arrived with my mom told me were was my teachers classroom at. So I started to walk to my teachers classroom when I arrived to the door knock on it really loud then Mrs.Johnson open the door and saw me and my mom. Then Mrs.Johnson invited my mom in so I went to the cafateria to get something to eat. After I got my food I went back to see if my mom was done talking to my teacher. As I went to the door my mom came out an said ”bye” to my teacher my came up to me an said ”I have to talk to you when you get home”okay I said. After school I went to my mom’s room and opened the door then my mom told me to sit down. Then my mom told me that I was going to repeat first grade again when my mom told me that I was pretty much speechless and the only thing I was thinging about was I wouldnt be able to see my friends any more and I would have to make new friends all over again. She said that she was going to tell my step dad. After we were done talking I went in my room thinking about what was going to happen to me.As I was waiting in my room I hear the door open my step dad was hear as he was walking up the stairs my mom said that she wanted to talk about me.When my mom told my step dad that I was going to get held back to first grade they started to argue about why would they hold me back to first grade. After they were done argueing my step dad came in the room and started to talk to me that he was sorry that I he was not there so I would not get held back.I didnt really knew what to say so I just stood there. When we where done talking I went to sleep. The next day at school I told my friend the bad news that I was going to get held back.So I guess we cant hang out no more I said ”well we can hang out in the morning,”they said yah I guess so.At the last day of school we had a party for moving on to second grade even when I wasnt going to second grade. When the the bell rang I said my good byes to all my friends and hope I would see them all next year. Over the years I learned alot about how this experiences changed my life it also gave me new friends and a family to help me keep going, but if this experience didnt happen I wouldnt be as smart, strongmind, helpful, happy, and thankful for all of these aspects that have changed my life.
